Who we are

This website is run by Mashed Pumpkin Productions, an independent podcast network based in Queensland, Australia, founded by Jack Laurence. If you have a question about your information, email mashedpumpkinprod@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you send us a message. The contact and partnership forms ask for your name, your email address, what your message is about and the message itself. The partnership form also asks for your company name, which is optional. That is the only personal information you give us through this website.

When you visit. Like every website, the server that hosts this site keeps routine technical records, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to run the site, keep it secure and stop spam. We don’t use them to identify you.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

How we use it

  • To reply to your message.
  • To follow up on advertising, sponsorship or collaboration enquiries you’ve sent us.
  • To keep a record of what was said, so we can pick up the conversation later.

Where it’s kept

Messages are saved in this website’s database and sent to our email inbox. The website is hosted by Hostinger and our email is provided by Google, so your information may be stored on servers outside Australia. Both providers protect it under their own security and privacy terms.

Cookies

This website doesn’t set cookies for visitors. The embedded players and services listed above may set their own. People who log in to edit the site get the standard WordPress login cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. Messages saved on the website are deleted automatically after two years.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Email mashedpumpkinprod@gmail.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, tell us first and we’ll try to put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. If you live in the UK or European Union, you have rights under the GDPR and can complain to your local data protection authority.
